What we deliver in Ponteland
Ponteland and especially Darras Hall is premium-spec territory — painted closeboard, hardwood gates, brushed-steel hinges, longer runs on bigger plots. Most of our local Ponteland work is upgrade work (replacing 30+ year-old original fencing on the established Darras Hall plots). Outlying villages (Stamfordham, Medburn, Black Heddon) are more standard rural runs.
Local notes & access
Darras Hall plots are some of the biggest residential plots in the North East — 30m+ boundary runs are common, and the spec expectation is high. Painted finishes need cure time so lead times stretch a bit. Outlying villages are flatter and more standard.
Do you do painted or stained closeboard for Ponteland properties?
Yes — we offer pre-treatment (factory-applied stain) or site-applied (we install raw and stain after cure). Site-applied is the better finish but adds 5–7 days to the schedule. Colours: dark oak, natural cedar, slate grey are the most common requests.
